Racers Edge Motorsports will contest the 2025 GT World Challenge America powered by AWS series with drivers Jason Bell and Michael Cooper. Bell and Cooper will pilot an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo in the Pro-Am class, building on the newly developed partnership between Aston Martin Racing and Racers Edge Motorsports.
Jason Bell has compiled an impressive resume, with championship wins in the SRO America GT4 series in 2021 and 2023. His second-place finish in the 2022 Pirelli GT America GT4 championship highlights Bell’s consistent competitive performance, in addition to the 15 wins, 72 podium finishes, and 6 pole positions in his career.
“I'm excited to announce my move to Racers Edge Motorsports for the 2025 season, where we will be competing in the full GT World Challenge America season in the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo, adding on the GT America races at the Grand Prix of Long Beach,” stated Bell.
Bell is already a familiar face to the Racers Edge Motorsports paddock. “My journey with Racers Edge began back in 2017, where I won my first race at VIR with this incredible team.
After seven successful years in GT4, including two championships with Aston Martin Racing, it’s time to take the next step and compete in the big show.”
“I had the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo in GT America in 2024, which was an invaluable learning experience,” Bell explained. “I’ve had the chance to understand the car, and now, as a team, we’re fired up and ready to compete at the highest level.”
“I couldn’t ask for a better co-driver than Michael Cooper, and with the support of our fantastic partners—Anello Photonics, Meat Market, Paddock1, and Mezrah Financial—we’re ready to make a serious run at the Pro-Am Championship.”
“With the experience, skill, and dedication this team brings, I’m confident we’ll be up to speed and fighting for wins.”
Silver-rated Michael Cooper brings extensive experience to Racers Edge Motorsports, most recently winning the LMP3 class at the 2022 Rolex 24 and the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge four-hour 2025 season premiere at Daytona International Speedway.
"I’m really excited to get back into GT World Challenge America with Jason Bell and Racers Edge Motorsports,” said Cooper. His prior accomplishments in SRO America include a win and a podium in GT World Challenge America in 2021 and the SRO America GT4 Pro series championship in 2020, with eleven victories on the season. Cooper also earned the 2017 GT3 Sprint-X Pro/Pro Championship and the 2015 GTS Drivers Championship in Pirelli World Challenge at the start of his impressive racing career.
With Cooper acting as Jason Bell’s coach and occasional co-driver, the two have established a successful working relationship. “In 2023 when Jason and I ran as a partial season pairing in GT4 America, we were super competitive [winning at Circuit of The Americas]. Jason made the jump to GT3 last year, got his feet wet, and now we are diving head-first into the big races in SRO America.”
“Racers Edge Motorsports runs a first-class organization. Having competed against the team on many occasions in both GT3 and GT4, I’m very much looking forward to being in their paddock this year."
